Summary
The Foryoku Dynasty takes inspiration from feudal japan, Shaolin monks, and ancient China. Their continent yukos features floating cliffs, dense forests, and sprawling meadows with a wide range of flying and land-dwelling Sentius. Their chosen element is Aer, giving rise to fleets of airships and mounted flying warriors.
Biomes
From the highest tips of the floating islands down to the ocean kissed beaches, the one thing holding yukos together is the always present wind. With green meadows and forests abundant, the real challenge to any traveler lies in the verticality of its high mountain spires and islands floating in the sky - topped with elegant wooden buildings. The Foryokans have mastered an architecture style that manages to be both delicate and stable at the same time, defying earthquakes and even gravity.
Military
Completely at home in the narrow valleys, steep rock spires and dangerous wind channels, the Foryokan military is the number one aerial force of the planet. Not only the beast masters riding their winged companions are able to traverse through the sky safely - lightweight airships carrying bombs are a centerpiece of the army. It's no wonder that in these lands, offense is truly the best defense, and a strategically placed ballista can turn the tide of battle and save a settlement from an aerial raid.
Lore
Proud of their sophisticated culture, most Foryokans regardless of standing practice not only martial but also one of the gentle arts. Instruments, poetry, and painting are widespread hobbies and part of their deep history - from the court nobles to the monks in their lofty abodes, even the tribes deep in the forest are known for their poetry and skill with both bow and flute. Just as elaborate as their architecture, Foryokan diet is focused not only on the taste, but also the look - a feast not only for the stomach but also the eyes.
